Q. How do I purchase my order on the site?

To order your item :-

  1. Click the “Add to cart” button on the product(s) you wish to purchase.
  2. Click “Continue Shopping” to continue adding other products into the cart or click “Checkout” to proceed to payment.
  3. You will then be prompted to log into your account using your Username and Password. If you do not have an account yet, you will need to register an account before you proceed with payment.
  4. You will then need to confirm your shipping address on the “Shipping Address” page and click the “next” button.
  5. From here, you will need to select your shipping method and click the “next” button.
  6. Next you will need to choose your payment method before clicking the “next” button.
  7. Once the above steps have been completed, you will need to reconfirm your billing details and agree to the terms and conditions stipulated.
  8. Finally, click “Confirm Order” to complete the order.


Q. What are the payment methods available?

Q. How to change my account personal information and shipping address?

Log-in your account → Click on “Account Maintenance” → Edit your account information and Shipping address here.


Q. I forgot my Password for my account. What should I do to retrieve it?

To retrieve a lost password :-

  1. Click on “Lost Password?” and fill in the email address that you used to register the account in the box.
  2. Click Submit.
  3. A verification token will be sent to you. Once you have received the token, you will be able to choose a new password for your account.

 

Q. Can I cancel an existing order that has been made?

Yes, but only if the order is still in pending status.

Please send an email to our Customer Service email at onlinesales@mytvbroadcasting.my with the message title “Request to cancel order” in order to inform us about the cancellation order.

Please note that orders in which payment has been received will not be cancelled.

Q. What is the transaction currency?

All transactions will be done in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).


Q. How long will delivery take?

Delivery will usually take about 5 to 10 working days. 

 

Q. What are the channels available with myFreeview?

For the time being, channels available are TV1, TV2, Tvi, TV3, TV Alhijrah, ntv7, 8TV, TV9 and Bernama News Channel (BNC). The number of channels will increase in time.
 

Q. How to receive myFreeview Channels?

A DVB-T2 decoder is needed to receive DTT transmission. A UHF antenna receiver has to be installed and connected to the antenna terminal at the back panel of the decoder. Only DVB-T2 decoders issued by MYTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd are approved by the Government for usage in Malaysia.

 

Q. How to install the MYTV decoder?

Installation of MYTV decoder is easy with a few simple steps. Kindly refer to the Installation Guide that comes with the decoder sets. Should you require assistance, please contact MYTV Customer Careline 1300 80 6988.

 

Q. What are the types of aerial that can receive DTT transmission?

There are two types of UHF aerials, indoor and outdoor. Indoor aerials are able to receive transmission for areas within a 25km radius from a transmitter station. However, not all areas within the radius are able to use indoor aerials due to physical hindrance such as being surrounded by large buildings, hills and issues of altitude. 

 

Q. How do I decide on a suitable aerial?

An outdoor UHF aerial is the best choice. However, indoor UHF aerials are also usable as long as you are residing within 25km of a transmission station. You are advised to test out your existing indoor or outdoor aerials beforehand. Please refer to the Coverage Map to identify the nearest transmitter in the area

 

Q. Can old or CRT TV sets receive DTT signal?

DTT transmission using MYTV decoders can be received using new and old TV sets including CRT equipped with audio visual (AV) input terminals.

Q. I have problems uploading my receipt, what should I do?

If there are problems uploading please allow a few minutes before trying again. In the event of presistent problems, please email us at onlinesales@mytvbroadcasting.my and we will try to assist you as best we can.
